Drake hasn’t been that long in the rap game, but still has reason to brag. Last year he tied with Diddy for the most no 1 rap songs. “Best I Ever Had” was the first Drake song to hit no 1 and that was back in 2009. In October of 2011, Drake was tied with Diddy for the most no 1 rap songs after Headlines reach the no 1 spot.
Now that “Make Me Proud” with Nicki Minaj hit the number one, Drake surpasses Diddy. Now Drake holds the record for the most number ones with 11, leaving Diddy behind with 10. Hope French Montana can make it work for Diddy.
So in something less than three years he accomplished what a lot of rappers couldn’t. Oh and btw, “The Motto” (Take Care bonus) went platinum. So now I can understand what this tweet meant.
