Slaughterhouse, well 3/4th of the group took time to sit down with ThisIs50′s Young Jack Thriller on the set of the videoshoot for “Throw It Away” off their upcoming album Our House.
They covered some topics like their new album, Slaughterhouse’s BET cypher and feeling underrated. We should expect “dope beats, extremely high level of production, lyricism at his finest” from this album, according to Royce Da 5’9. But he leaves it to our own judgement saying “It’s up to you, you can judge when you listen to it” adding that it will be filled with “rapping at the highest level of bars that you can think of.”
They went on talking about killing the BET Cypher as a group. “It was just ill to us cause we hadn’t heard each other ish” making it clear that it wasn’t rehearsed. “We all met up at BET and they was like go” Joell added. I don’t even care, that was one of the hardest cyphers BET has ever had.
On the part of being underrated they had a disagreement, cause Joell feels as if they are respected. “I think we get respected, N***as respect us bro.. Nah Man Anybody that gets wind of us respect us” he said. But Budden maybe has a point when he said “My talent and my lifestyle don’t match B.”
What do you think of this, is Slaughterhouse underrated?
