Beanie Sigel was on Shade 45 with Statik Selektah. While up there, Scarface called up to help announce their new joint album Mac And Brad.
While Sigel was being interviewed Scarface called in to the show to officially break the news of the album’s conception.
“I can’t wait for this ish. Me and Beans doing some easy ish right now. You know, separate solo acts but eventually we gonna double back and do that ish,” Scarface explained. “I just wanted to break that news on XM man, Shade 45. I’m F**king with it.”

Lil Wayne In Top 5 Of Billboard’s 2012 Money Makers List

Lil Wayne has landed in the top 5 of Billboard’s 2012 Top Money Makers list! He was one of the few rappers that were on it. In 2011, Taylor Swift earned the most money with $35,719,902 million, while U2 came second earning $32.1 million, third place was Kenny Chesney with $29.8 million, fourth was Lady Gaga with $25.3 million and fifth spot belonged to Weezy earning $23.1 million.
The list is based on U.S. income sources like album sales, publishing royalties and tours.
Lil Wayne’s first full year back in the market after serving eight months for attempted gun possession in New York proved a lucrative stretch. For the week ending Sept. 6, ninth studio set Tha Carter IV debuted atop the Billboard 200, racking up the year’s second-biggest sales week with 964,000 units sold. The tally also gave Wayne the best sales week by a male artist since his own Carter III topped the charts with 1 million units in June 2008 and accounted for nearly a third of his total 2.7 million sales for that year. (Only Lady Gaga’s Born This Way, offered at a special 99 cent price for two days at AmazonMP3 during its first week, had a better debut than IV in 2011.) Wayne also moved 12.3 million digital tracks, driven by Hot 100 top 10s like “6 Foot, 7 Foot” and “She Will,” and continued to prove himself on the road. His I Am Still Music tour grossed $44.7 million from 67 shows and 695,291 tickets sold. Then there’s the fortune he earned as founder of Young Money Entertainment, label home of Nicki Minaj, Drake, Tyga and others, but that’s a different list. Full list
Azealia Banks Calls T.I. Corny Over Iggy Azalea Beef

Azealia Banks had an exchange of words with Iggy Azalea over the XXL cover/Iggys slave master line. I thought this ish ended, but it didn’t.
T.I. and crew was on DJ Drama’s radio show to introduce his new roster. Drama had some question for him and the crew, one of them was about the Azealia Banks’ comments on Iggy being on the cover of the XXL Freshmen.
T.I. came to Iggy’s defense asking if Azealia Banks was not happy with Iggy being on the cover or that she was not happy for not being on it herself. That’s a question I would like to hear the answer to. T.I. went further saying that he’s not familiar with the “212″ rapper and said, I quote:
“strategically if she really cares about a freshmen cover maybe she could hope that she’ll suck enough to get shelved and then next year when the freshmen cover comes back around, maybe she’ll still be a freshman.”
TIP didn’t stop there and kept going on by saying, “If you spend half of your day getting money and the other half of your day counting money, you ain’t got no time in your day to worry about nobody else.”
